Daytrip to Fort William

Hi there

Going on a daytrip to Fort William by train on Saturday and wondered if anyone can recommend anything to do?

I was thinking of going up Ben Nevis on the cable car or maybe a trip out to sea with Crannog Cruises but wondered if anyone can recommend anything else as we arrive at Fort William at approx 10:30am and leaving again on the 17:45 train.

Hi Jim and welcome to the site!

Was up close to Fort William last year for a weekend but we tended to follow a lot of the hill walks around the area so didn't really spend much time in Fort William itself!

Hopefully one of the more regular visitors to that part of the world will see this and put some suggestions in before you go!
